Whistleblower !
Using the form below, you can report a violation of the law. Alternatively, you can submit your report to our headquarters at Jęczmienna 21, Toruń, or request a direct meeting during which you can make an oral report that will be confirmed with a protocol. Anonymous reports can also be recorded on our hotline at +48 566 424 947.
The form is intended for reporting any legal violations, including justified suspicions of actual or potential breaches of the law that have occurred or are likely to occur at EIB S.A. in a work-related context, as well as information about attempts to conceal such violations.
Reports must be made in good faith. Anyone knowingly making a report containing false information is subject to a fine, restriction of liberty, or imprisonment for up to two years.
Anyone who knowingly submits false information or conceals the truth is not entitled to whistleblower protection.
No retaliatory actions, attempts, or threats thereof may be taken against the whistleblower.
The report should include a clear and comprehensive explanation of the subject matter, including at least:
a) The date and location of the violation or the date and location when information about the violation was obtained;
b) Your personal information, including details of your employment status at EIB S.A., unless you are reporting anonymously;
c) A description of the specific situation or circumstances that could constitute a legal violation;
d) Identification of the individual(s) involved in the report;
e) Identification of any potential victim(s);
f) Identification of any potential witnesses to the violation;
g) Any evidence and information at your disposal that may assist in reviewing the report;
h) Your preferred method of contact if you expect confirmation of receipt and feedback from EIB S.A..
You will receive confirmation of the receipt of your report from the recipient within 7 days of submission, unless you did not provide a contact address. For oral reports, written confirmation will be provided during the meeting at which the report is made.
We may decide not to proceed with an investigation if the content of the report is clearly false or if obtaining information necessary for the investigation is impossible. A report enabling an investigation will be promptly reviewed.
After conducting an investigation, we assess the validity of the report. For valid reports, a designated team issues recommendations for appropriate remedial or disciplinary actions against the person responsible for the violation, as well as potential recommendations to eliminate and prevent similar violations in the future.
For valid reports, feedback is provided no later than 3 months from the confirmation of receipt or, if no confirmation was issued, 3 months from 7 days after the submission of the report, unless no contact address was provided. Feedback includes information on planned or implemented follow-up actions and the reasons for those actions.
All reports are recorded in the Register of Reports, regardless of the outcome of follow-up actions.
Information on Personal Data Processing

Remember, personal data that can identify you will not be disclosed to unauthorized persons unless you explicitly consent to such disclosure.
I. The controller of personal data is EIB S.A., headquartered at Jęczmienna 21, Toruń, registered with the District Court in Toruń, 7th Commercial Division of the National Court Register under KRS number 0000050455, NIP 956-000-74-85;

III. The purpose of personal data processing is to receive, verify, and review reports of legal violations in accordance with the Whistleblower Protection Act of June 14, 2024;
IV. Legal bases for data processing include:
1) Compliance with a legal obligation under the Whistleblower Protection Act pursuant to Article 6(1)(c) of the GDPR;
2) Legitimate interest of the Controller in receiving, verifying, and clarifying reports of legal violations pursuant to Article 6(1)(f) of the GDPR;
3) Voluntary consent of the whistleblower if anonymity is waived, pursuant to Article 6(1)(a) of the GDPR.
V. Providing data is voluntary but necessary to receive confirmation of the report and feedback on follow-up actions.
VI. Consent can be withdrawn at any time without affecting the lawfulness of processing based on consent before its withdrawal.
VII. You have the right to access and rectify your data.
VIII. You have the right to request data deletion, restrict processing, or object to processing if further processing is unnecessary for the Controller’s legal obligations and no other overriding legal grounds apply.
IX. Your data may only be shared with entities authorized by law.
X. Your data will not be transferred to third countries (outside the European Economic Area).
XI. Your data will not undergo automated processing or profiling.
XII. Personal data related to reports or follow-up actions will be stored for 3 years after the end of the calendar year in which follow-up actions or proceedings were completed.
XIII. In the event of GDPR violations, you have the right to lodge a complaint with the supervisory authority – the President of the Personal Data Protection Office.
